I found some spare cash and decided to pick up a case of 425BB Hitec servos, some burlap and some LED flashing treats for the kiddies. I am starting to get ready for the big day. (I need to make a list.)

I was so happy to open one of my gifts this year. It was a PED machine. What is that you might ask. Well my fine friend, it is a machine I can use to take pictures and turn them into designs my embroidery machine can stitch.

Yes boys and girls, that means I can embroider the AZHaunters logo on polo shirts to make our group look like the bomb.

Now I just need to figure out how to transfer the image over to the thing. More to come. :D

I decided I am going to sell the 3-axis Bride and Groom I made this year and focus on a new project.

I'm going to animate some characters from the Nightmare Before Christmas. I'm excited to get Jack talking this year and add Oogey Boogey to the mix. I might do the Mayor as well since I like how his head spins. Jack's girlfriend is still an undecided. I might use a step motor on the bottom of Jack to have him pivot from an encounter with Oogey to a conversation with Sally.

The two weeks before Halloween I felt like I was running myself ragged. How many folks can say they went back to work to get a rest. :)

I was able to get most of it torn down the day after and it stored away surprisingly well. I only have two more sections of wall to take down and it will all be put away for another year. I'm taking Thursday through Sunday off so I can knock the rest down then. Afterward, I'll sit down and have a well deserved beer.
